In Never Mess With The Nerd, He's The Racing God, Alan "Kimi" Anderson rides a rusty bike and lets his classmates call him trash. He is secretly the world racing champion, and his girlfriend Meg has just admitted she dated him on a $100 dare. The Never Mess With The Nerd ending pays it all back: Alan unmasks himself in front of the whole school at prom, survives a sabotaged final race to become the youngest back-to-back world champion, and sees Meg and Brock, the rich kid she left him for, arrested for attempted murder. He ends up with supermodel Sienna Johnson, starting college at her side.
Why a world champion plays the school loser
Episode 1 sets it up: Alan was born with super hearing, and at school he hides his real face behind glasses and a wig. He plans to ask Meg to prom as Kimi and give her a $3 million hypercar. In episode 3, at the school gate, his hearing catches a man charging at supermodel Sienna Johnson with sulfuric acid, and Alan pulls her clear. Sienna notices the reflexes, the hearing and a cologne that smells exactly like Kimi's.
Then Alan finds Meg with Brock Walker, a rich kid who claims his dad works for Kimi. In episode 4 she tells him their three months together were a dare: her friends bet her $100 that she couldn't pretend to date the biggest dork in school. Asked if she is sure, she answers:
"In every lifetime, Alan. Get lost."
In episode 5 Sienna, who owes Alan for the acid attack, offers to play his new girlfriend and help him destroy his ex.
Sienna's fake romance turns real
At Kimi's VIP party in episodes 8–11, held in Alan's own mansion, Brock brands Alan a thieving valet and has his friends throw him in the pool. He also throws Sienna's car key, signed by Kimi and left in Alan's care, into a fire pit; it is aerospace-grade carbon fiber and survives. Sienna walks in, calls Alan her boyfriend and kisses him.
In episodes 12–15 Brock's dad, Leon Walker, poses as Kimi's team principal, so Alan challenges Brock to race Kimi's own cars. Alan takes a golf cart against Brock's V12 and still matches Kimi's track record, while Brock crashes. In episode 16 Leon turns out to be a tier-four garage janitor and is fired.
In episode 18, when Sienna asks if he is Kimi, Alan asks whether it would matter if he were a broke nobody. She says she wants him, whoever he is, and gives him her grandmother's ring.
In episodes 19–22 Alan wins a rigged sim-racing duel in the dark, turns down Brock's ten million dollars in supercars ("I race for the love of it") and fights off the thugs Brock paid to break his hands.
In episode 25, after the fight, Sienna calls him Kimi Anderson again, and this time Alan admits it.
"I just wanted to know if anyone would give a damn about Alan the Nobody."
Meg looks at the truth and refuses to see it
Sienna keeps his secret on one condition: he buries Brock at the Kimi Racing rookie draft as himself. In episode 27 Brock bets his racing career on a five-lap duel, and in episode 28 he lasts five seconds. Kimi drives blindfolded with one hand, and Brock is banned from the professional circuit.
Meg throws herself at Kimi. On national TV in episode 30, he shows her Sienna's ring, puts on Alan's glasses and says Kimi is his middle name. Meg calls it a trick, and Kimi lets her keep dreaming.
At the VIP banquet in episodes 33–34, Alan's "fake" sneakers turn out to be a one-of-a-kind gift to Kimi from designer Lucien Valenti.
In episode 35 a guard tries to keep Alan out, so he buys the Grand Hotel on the spot for $50 million and asks whether he is allowed inside now. The evening turns into Kimi's charity auction, and Brock, desperate to catch Kimi's eye, bids on a sealed mystery vault from Kimi's track locker. Alan keeps raising until Brock shouts $10 million, then lets him have it. The vault holds a pair of Kimi's used practice gloves worth about $20,000. For the grand finale Alan pays $100 million for a pink diamond and tells Sienna it matches her dress.
In episode 38 Brock's father storms in and drags him away in front of everyone: the Russian mob has just kicked in their front door, because the $10 million came from loan sharks charging 50% a day. Brock begs Meg for help, and she drops him in seconds. Then a statement from Kimi is read to the room: Meg is banned from every Anderson venue, circuit and property on Earth for life.
In episode 39, Meg calls Kimi Racing, claims Sienna is cheating with Alan and invites Kimi to the Lincoln High prom to catch them. He accepts, and she tells the whole school he is her date.
Alan arrives on his bike, Meg stops the music to announce the champion, and Alan steps into the spotlight as Kimi Anderson. When she begs, he tells her, "You don't love me. You love the trophy." Everyone sees who she really is, and Principal Harris expels her on the spot (episode 43).
Never Mess With The Nerd ending explained: a title won in a burning car
In short: Alan reveals himself as Kimi at prom, then wins the season finale with no brakes and a burning car. Meg and Brock are arrested for attempted murder, and Alan starts college with Sienna.
The season finale (episodes 44–48) decides everything: a win makes Kimi the youngest back-to-back world champion in racing history. Brock, who broke house arrest, and Meg tamper with his car while the pit crew is away. Alan promises Sienna he will be back in an hour. "Tops."
At 200 miles per hour into turn one, the hydraulic brake line snaps. Kimi flicks the car around, takes the wall rear-first and refuses his crew's order to retire. Two laps down with nine to go, he grinds along the barrier to slow down and passes car after car.
Then the engine block is melting and the fuel cell is breached. The pit radio warns the car will blow up in 60 seconds. "Then I'll win in 60 seconds," Kimi answers, and he does. Brock and Meg are caught running for the fire exit and arrested for attempted murder.

"You didn't care when you thought I was a nobody on a bicycle. Don't start caring now."
