The broken bond awakens her white wolf, and in episode 31 she leaves the Mendez Pack for her father's pack in the south.

Does Megan's baby survive?

No. Megan's pup dies before the hospital can save it, and Francesca has to tell her when she wakes in episode 15. The rest of the series is about who is responsible.

The night it happened (episodes 1–14)

Megan's labor starts on a new moon, the one night the pack is too weak to shift. Isabelle Ortiz, Alpha Samuel Mendez's human first love, arrives seven months pregnant (the pup is not Samuel's) and bleeding. Samuel takes Isabelle to the hospital and orders the household to wait for him, and no wolf below him dares disobey an Alpha command.

His Beta, Dylan Clarke, blocks the young Omega Susan from fetching help and has the healer Kayden sedate Megan when she fights. Kayden gives her silver-laced pills to delay labor, and Miriam, the head of staff, forces her to swallow them. Then Isabelle calls, claims she speaks for Samuel, and tells Miriam to hang Megan upside down, bind her belly and, if that fails, stitch her shut with a silver needle. Susan tries to stop it and is beaten. Only Francesca, Samuel's older sister, who outranks everyone in the room and never received his order, breaks in (episode 12) and gets Megan to the hospital.

What Samuel knew

Episodes 17–21 replay the same night from Samuel's side: feeding Isabelle at the hospital, telling himself Megan was only jealous, then racing home to a blood-soaked room. He swears he never ordered the torture, and the interrogations in episodes 22–24 back him up. Every witness points to Isabelle, who used his phone, his name and his command.

The Alpha's Last Command ending explained

In episodes 25–26 the elders hold a Pack Law tribunal under the moon, with Megan carried in to witness it:

  1. Isabelle is guilty of impersonating the Alpha, conspiring to kill his heir and desecrating a fated bond. She is marked so every pack will know her scent, and her pup will be taken at birth and raised by wolves who will never know its name.

  2. Dylan loses his Beta rank and is exiled; Kayden loses his healer title.

  3. Miriam will feel Megan's pain every full moon.

  4. Samuel keeps his title but must rule a pack with no heir, knowing his line ends with him.

Isabelle is not finished. In episode 27 a man she hired tries to kill Megan in her hospital bed, and Samuel takes the silver dagger in his chest. Megan agrees to see him only to tell him to have the surgery: she will not carry his death on top of her pup's, and living with what he did is his real punishment.

Once he survives, in episode 29, she says it: "I, Megan Vance, reject you, Samuel Mendez, as my mate." When Francesca asks what she has done, Megan answers: something no Luna has ever done. The bond snaps, Samuel's wolf collapses, and Megan's white wolf, silent since the new moon, finally rises. In the last episode, Samuel stays Alpha only on probation while Francesca leads the pack as interim Alpha, Susan is made a Beta in training for trying to save her Luna, and Megan walks to her father's waiting pack without looking back.

Why the title matters

The last command is Samuel's order to wait. The tribunal treats obedience as a choice: every wolf who hid behind that order is punished, and so is the Alpha who gave it. Megan's rejection frees her from a bond that let her mate's word be used against her.

Frequently asked questions

Does Megan forgive Samuel?

No. She saves his life by agreeing to his surgery, then rejects the mate bond and leaves.

What happens to Isabelle?

She is marked as an enemy of every pack, loses her pup to a wolf family and later hires an attacker, who wounds Samuel instead of Megan.

Who becomes Alpha?

Samuel keeps the title on probation, while his sister Francesca runs the pack as interim Alpha.
