The girl who saw her own ending first

In episode 1 Reed Holton publicly claims Serena as his mate, and the academy crowd waits for Ivy to make a scene. She sits it out at the far end of the bar, and in episode 3 Reed tells her he will still think of her like a sister. Ivy hands back her courting bracelet, and when he says she can throw it away, she drops it in the trash and leaves.

Ivy's calm has a reason. In episode 4, standing by the river in the pouring rain, she recalls dreams that have started coming true. In them Serena knocked her down with one backhand, and Reed said:

"I'm not gonna mate some useless human girl who can't even take a single hit."

In the dream, Ivy jumped into this river that same night and died alone. The one who collected her remains was the man she had always kept at a distance, Isaac Voss, who carried a vial of her ashes until he died and never mated.

A phone call to the silver wolf

So Ivy calls Isaac and asks him to come get her. He makes her say please, and in episode 5, as she breaks down in tears, he tells her to wait twenty minutes.

Ivy gives her umbrella to a mother and child sheltering from the rain, so she is soaked when he arrives. Isaac calls her stupid, grabs her arm hard enough to leave her wrist aching and shoves her into the car with a blanket.

In episode 7 Ivy recalls why this call matters. Isaac, of the highest-ranking bloodline among the packs, always looked as if he couldn't stand her, yet in her dreams he sensed the mate bond the moment he first saw her and never told her.

Ivy asks to go back to his dorm. In episode 8 Isaac warns her not to make him part of her game with Reed, but she snatches his phone before he can call her a ride and begs to stay.

Wet sheets, a hidden girl and an Alpha's voice

In episode 9 Ivy's wet hair soaks Isaac's sheets, and in episode 10 Isaac changes them and says he will stay up playing a game.

Then Reed calls Isaac, and at Ivy's request Isaac says she hasn't come by. They kiss for the first time in episode 11, and moments later Reed walks back into the room.

Isaac pulls Ivy under his covers and floods the room with his scent to bury hers. In the dark, Reed complains that he left Serena over a news story about a girl jumping in the river, and that Ivy will cling to him for the rest of his life. Isaac answers, "Maybe not."

In episode 13 Reed guesses that Isaac is hiding a girl and steps toward the bed. In episode 14 Isaac stops him with Alpha authority, a tone a white wolf cannot disobey. Once Reed leaves, Isaac tells Ivy in episode 15:

"I've never been annoyed by you, and I've never given you a cold shoulder."

Isaac's doubt and the family that wanted Ivy gone

In episode 16 Ivy realizes that Isaac thinks she went to the river to hurt herself over Reed and came to his room only to get back at Reed.

Ivy's reasons go deeper. The Crane family adopted her and tried to cast her out once their real daughter, a pure-blooded wolf, came home. In episode 17 Ivy reveals that they kept her only as a bargaining chip, for her dormant witch bloodline, and that Reed was the lifeline she hoped would pull her out.

Isaac tells her to leave early so no one sees her. In episode 18, eyes red, Ivy walks to the door barefoot, and Isaac catches her arm and kisses her: if she insists on starting something with him, he says, she has to see it through. From then on they are together.

Wet On His Roommate's Sheets ending explained: Reed's birthday reckoning

In short: In the Wet On His Roommate's Sheets ending, Ivy walks into Reed's birthday party with Isaac, carrying his scent, and Isaac tells Reed she is his girlfriend. Ivy tells Reed she chose Isaac and doesn't want him anymore, and the couple leave hand in hand for Isaac's new place.

Over fall break (episode 19) Ivy spends three days in her birth parents' city, and by the time she leaves, police have arrested them for trafficking, sexual violence and forcing women into prostitution. Isaac thinks she was away with a friend.

Reed has asked Isaac to bring his girlfriend to his birthday party, and in episode 20 Isaac asks Ivy to come. She hesitates, because in her dreams people dragged Isaac's name through the dirt for choosing a girl who couldn't even shift, then says yes.

At the venue in episode 21 they overhear Reed through the half-open door. When Serena asks him to make Ivy leave, he says, "Tell her to get lost," and Isaac pushes the door open to ask who exactly Reed means.

In episode 22 every wolf in the room smells Isaac's scent on Ivy. The glass in Reed's hand shatters, and Serena runs off in tears after he snaps at her to get out. Bleeding, Reed insists Ivy is his, and Isaac points out that she carries neither Reed's scent nor his mark before asking:

"Or does a girl liking you once automatically make her your property?"

In episode 24 Ivy finishes it herself, holding Isaac's hand under her sleeve:

"I chose him. I don't want you anymore."

When Reed says she nearly jumped in the river for him, Ivy replies that she only went there to get Isaac to pick her up, and Reed realizes she was the girl in Isaac's dorm. She tells him to stay with Serena because they are over, and when Reed snarls, Isaac tells him to ask his father about pack ranks. Reed goes quiet, and Isaac leads Ivy out by the hand.

The Wet On His Roommate's Sheets ending turns the dream around: the river where Ivy once died for Reed is where she called Isaac, and Reed, who dismissed her as a useless human girl, is the one left bleeding in an emptied room.

Where Ivy, Isaac, Reed and Serena end up

  • Ivy: free of her birth parents, finished with Reed and leaving with Isaac, even though she expects the Crane family to cut ties with her.

  • Isaac Voss: openly with Ivy, calling her his girlfriend and using his rank to silence Reed.

  • Reed Holton: rejected by Ivy, his hand cut on broken glass, told to stay with Serena.

  • Serena: leaves the party in tears; the series never says whether she and Reed stay together.
