In Zombie Power Bank, Noah Carter has just been kicked into a zombie pit by his girlfriend, Jessica, because he never awakened an ability. He survives only because Leah, a zombie who kept her mind, shares her fire with him. The Zombie Power Bank ending turns that betrayal into a throne: Noah kills the Zombie Emperor, defeats Mark, the man Jessica left him for, learns that a military experiment created the zombies and rules Dawn Town with four Awakened women at his side, while Jessica is left with nothing. It takes 36 episodes of this 16+ drama.

Thrown to the zombies

Episode 1 starts with the betrayal, and Jessica tells Noah exactly why:

"Don't blame me, Noah. The apocalypse doesn't feed freeloaders."

Mark and Jessica leave Noah in the zombie pit, where a female zombie reaches him first. In episode 2 he wakes up alive.

The zombie is Leah, an Awakened who keeps her human memories and abilities. The night they spent together passed her flame manipulation to Noah, who also wakes with metal manipulation and one thought: Jessica and Mark's time to die has come.

In episode 3 Mark's men demand that Noah hand Leah over, and he burns them, sending one back to tell Mark that his life is reserved by Noah.

How Noah collects four powers

From here the drama follows one pattern: each time Noah has sex with an Awakened woman, he copies her ability, and she calls him master. The series plays every encounter as a victory, yet at least two of them are sexual assaults, and they are named as such here.

Ava, a high-level ice Awakened, attacks in episode 4 and suppresses Leah's fire. Noah melts her Absolute Zero, then overpowers her and forces sex on her while she tells him to get off (episodes 5–6). By episode 7 she calls him master, and ice is his second ability.

Selena, an Awakened with mind control, traps Noah in an illusion in episode 8 and tries to make him her slave. He breaks free, turns her own power on her and sexually assaults her while controlling her mind (episodes 8–10), and by episode 11 he has copied mind control.

In episode 13 a faint life signal leads the group to a basement where thugs have kept an Awakened woman caged as a blood bag for months. Mia, a nurse before she died, has a healing ability but is too drained to survive the night. Noah's cure is sex while she is near death and calling herself unworthy of him. She recovers, and in episode 15 healing becomes his fourth ability.

Revenge at the survivor base

Also in episode 15 the group reaches a human survivor base, where Noah's metal and fire win him a seat at the leader's banquet. The leader is Mark, and Jessica is now the base's second-in-command. In episode 17 she offers to get back together, and Noah reminds her that she kicked him into the zombie pit.

Rejected, Jessica tells Mark in episode 18 that Noah's companions are high-level zombies. Mark wants them for himself, surrounds Noah's suite with armed guards and orders him to send the women out.

Noah and the women fight their way out in episode 19. In episode 20 Noah frees the base's captives, announces that Mark is dead and renames the base Dawn Town, where humans and Awakened share equal rights. When Jessica begs for forgiveness in episode 21, claiming Mark forced her, Noah strips her of rations and sends her to clean the sewers.

Zombie Power Bank ending explained: a lab-made apocalypse

In short: In the Zombie Power Bank ending, Noah kills the Zombie Emperor, then beats a mutated Mark who has taken the Emperor's power, and stands his ground when Mark detonates the Emperor's core crystal. He wakes up scorched but alive, tells Dawn Town that a military gene program created the virus, makes humans and Awakened equal by law and rejects Jessica for good.

The final threat arrives in episode 23, when the Zombie Emperor, the will behind the zombie horde, demands Noah's four women as breeders for a new generation of gods and threatens to level the town.

In episode 24 Leah melts a door, and inside the group finds a report: a modification project dumped experimental serums into the city's backup water supply, and the Zombie Emperor is Test Subject Number One, who went rogue (episode 25).

Noah tells the shaken women they are neither monsters nor experimental subjects and promises to collect the debt humanity owes them. The battle in the core cultivation room nearly kills him (episode 26), the four women heal him with their core power in a ritual staged as another sex scene (episodes 27–28), and in episode 29 he kills the Zombie Emperor as it begs for its life.

Then Mark, as the subtitles name him, returns in episode 29. He thanks Noah for killing the Emperor and claims its power, along with a mutated body whose scales Noah's attacks cannot pierce. In episode 30 he leads a zombie army toward Dawn Town, and the women are poisoned shielding Noah from the Emperor's paralyzing toxin.

Noah purges the toxin from them in episodes 31–32, and the power that results, black flames, breaks Mark's defense. In episode 33 Mark admits defeat, then detonates the Emperor's core crystal, enough to destroy everything within a hundred miles. Noah refuses to run, calls on Mia's power and stays.

In episode 34 Noah wakes with scorched skin, revived by the women, and in episode 35 he tells Dawn Town the truth:

"The Awakened are not monsters. They are the victims of this man-made disaster."

Noah blames the military's New God Gene modification program for both the virus and the Zombie Emperor, and a new law makes humans and Awakened equals in Dawn Town. When Jessica begs one last time, Noah tells her to get out of his sight.

Read plainly, the Zombie Power Bank ending is a revenge fantasy with a political twist: the man thrown away as useless ends up writing the laws, and the monsters everyone hunted turn out to be victims of a human experiment. The series never questions how Noah treats the women, whom he calls his exclusive property.
